Gfi Group is seeking for talented, ambitious and experienced researchers at the post-doctoral level interested in becoming applicants for the next MSCA-IF-2020 call evaluating under the Society and Enterprise panel.

Among the different research lines launched by the Innovation team, we can find AIOps. AIOps is the application of artificial intelligence for IT operations. By means of the combination of algorithmic and human intelligence, it is possible to provide full visibility into the state and performance of the IT systems that modern businesses rely on.
For the MSCA-IF-EF-SE 2020 call, our Innovation team is looking for a postdoc with experience in advanced analytics (ML/DL) to join the innovation team in charge of developing a new platform that will abstracts away the complexity of AI, enabling IT Ops experts to build smarter systems faster.
The Marie Curie fellow will collaborate in high level research activities related with advanced Machine Learning, Classification and non-linear Regression systems, and techniques, applied to problems of high interest within the Telco Industry, focused on logs/events from machines and incidents from proprietary datasets.
Eligibility criteria:
A researcher can move to Spain (location Madrid) to conduct research for up to 24 months.
Fluent in English and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Mobility rule: S/He must have not lived in Spain for longer than 12 months in the past 36 months up to 9th of September 2020.
Scientific creativity and originality, problem-solving skills, autonomy and initiative.
PhD-Degree or 4 years of research experience after attained master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Math.
Proficiency in Machine learning & Artificial Intelligence
Proficiency in training large scale models using modern deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a must.
Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computational Linguistics would be a plus
Commitment to keeping up-to-date with innovation and technical advances, particularly within the Artificial Intelligence domain.
